The book does not claim to be comprehensive and there are problems which could not be dealt with for reasons of space; but the basic features are presented for argument.
In conclusion, the reader’s attention is drawn to a problem which at first must remain in the background but which will become clearer when the full picture is appreciated. It concerns the distinction between actual bodily harm due to accident and injury to health; between prevention of accidents and protection of occupational health.
