Summary |
STATISTICAL THINKING: A Structural Approach is a paperback supplement for any introductory statistics course. To say that much, however, is to indicate only a small part of its potential value. It may be assigned before the main text in a full one - term introductory course; used in this way, it can help many students over the psychological hurdles that stand between them and statistics. A more frequent use of the book, however, will be in one- and two-week "statistics and measurement" units of courses in the behavioral sciences and in a wide variety of other subject areas and departments.
With its structural, unifying, and idea-oriented approach, here is a book that will create its own niche in the academic community.
