Cooperatives are democratic organizations registered under the Cooperatives Law. These are managed by decisions taken at different level of the organization. The decisions are the basis of resolution and resolutions are the authority for subsequent action.
Meetings and discussions are quintessential to the success of the cooperatives. The importance of the meeting lies in the fact that it helps a group to reach a consensus when urgent and crucial matters need to be discussed and brain-stormed through personal interactions. Meetings not only can help a team/board in active decision making process they also provide opportunities to the Board of Directors of cooperatives to feel that its affairs are well regulated which is a moral guarantee of its proper management.
