Summary |
The objective is twofold. First, it attempts to show the average good agent that he can write business insurance as well as personal coverages. Second it seeks to demonstrate to him, in simple English. Toward this end, various ideas are discussed and plenty of actual case histories are used to illustrate the ideas. Obviously, the names, places, and situations have been slightly altered so they could not be identified by anyone familiar with the situation, but they are real people.
In delineating the area of this volume, we have limited it to proprietorship, partnership, and corporation coverages. Authors have not discussed corporation employee plans of any nature-from executive compensation on through group insurance-other than to mention them. Sometimes these other important sources of business get pretty complex, and we have tried to keep these pages relatively simple.
