A person who is concerned with one particular field of study may well content himself with the study of that branch of the law which is most clearly allied to that field. He may, however, need to explore more than one branch of the law, and in any event basic principles of law. It is for that reason that insurance students has to study the general principles of law in Part A, and a revision of this subject is a suitable preparation for the study of commercial and company law.
