This text approaches the study of managerial decision making in a different way : Even thought there is recognition and discussion of quantitative methods in decision making, the human behavior aspects have also been included. That is, this text offers an integrated treatment of the subject through a combination of these two approaches. The subject of managerial decision making is treated in a sensible fashion. The author has been careful not to become entangled in extended discussions of human factors or elaborate mathematical development. And although the work is mathematically based, it actually includes a minimum of mathematics. This lends to the fact that the material is readable.
