This is the fourth book of the series—the story of the Cliftons and the Barringtons starts exactly where the last book ended. It deals with a dramatic account of intrigue, betrayal and sabotage between Cliftons and Barringtons. Problems faced by both the families are highlighted in the book. All the problems are related to the accident of Harry Clifton and his wife Emma Clifton’s son Sebastian.
Soon after the forced resignation of Toss Buchanan, Emma Clifton wishes to take up the post of the chairman at the Barrington Shipping Company. The company is aiming to build the new luxury liner but there are many who are aiming to destroy the family business. Meanwhile, the story also talks about Clifton’s adopted daughter and her love interest.
However, the main plot of the story remains on tussle of business powers between the ambitious Clifton wife Emma and the villain Don Pedro's puppet Major Alex Fisher. There are few events in the book that will take readers by surprise, which make it a definite page-turner.
Following several interesting and unexpected series of events, the novel takes the readers through family lives of the two clans with all confusions and planning-plotting among members of both families.
