This edition places greater emphasis upon the health coverages and disability benefits. Group coverages are also given added attention. A number of new developments since the fifth edition first appeared are discussed. The order of presentation has been changed in a number of respects, several chapters have been omitted, and the length of the text has been reduced. Numerous passages have been rephrased to simplify the presentation.
