Though industrial safety measures are now well-known, they are only effective if they are executed properly. This is why management is so important in essence, the function of management is to optimize performance, whether it is in safely, in business, or in an institutional organization.
The work of this book is the collaborative effort of many outstanding people in the management field. The motivation for this work varied from individual to individual, but the central motivation that untied us all was the excitement of capturing the management state-of-the-art and sharing it with colleagues in the dynamic profession of management.
