The book titled challenges of the twenty first century is a contribution made out of selective papers presented in conferences held at home and abroad. It deals with international, regional and national issues relating to world peace, south Asia’s nuclear proliferation, terrorism in south Asia, human rights, transforming rural India, disaster management, human development, knowledge economy and the present crisis of global recession. All these issues are analyzed effectively and ideas for managing them are provided based on non-violent methods and UN Millennium development goals (UNMDG) by advancing interesting argument for attaining global knowledge society.
