This book aims to provide papers to enhance knowledge through research articles on health issues and problems in areas of general health, rural health, tribal health, women health, mother- child health care, traditional health care system, inter-state comparison of health care system, public-private partnership in the health sector, rural sanitation, health insurance, medical tourism, inequalities in access to health care, fundamental Constitutional right to health care and other related health issues.
In the context of the above mentioned areas, this book called conceptual and research papers from academicians, faculty members, scholars and students. They contributed the articles based on empirical research experience or on high level of conceptualization.
This book is divided in to Three sections. Section-I deals the general health issues in India. Section-II presents the health status of women and children. Section-III exhibits the health care system in Tamil Nadu.
