The main objective of health care services is to mitigate the health problems by supplying required timely preventive and curative measure to the society. As a result of health sector the output obtained is health status. Health status is an integral of physical, mental, social and economical well being of the society. In this book the authors made an attempt to depict the current situation of Indian health status intensively by using both primary and secondary sources. The book will be used by the researcher for their research in health economics which is lacking in Indian context.
