The book is, divided into two main parts. The first part, Chapters 1 to 6, evaluates the current law, highlighting the potential problems and offering some solutions. In the second part, Chapters 7 and 8, the scope and nature of a possible reform in this area are discussed, in the light of a comparative study and recent developments in the marine insurance market.
