One of the universally accepted characteristics of a profession is the observance of strict code of conduct by the members of the profession. The basic reason why code of conduct is strictly to be enforced in the case of professional is, that a professional is endowed with higher faculties conditioned by an elaborate preparatory education, rigorous instruction and valuable practical training, as to distinguish, above all, righteous act/conduct from those deviant and unedifying.
