The objective of organising this seminar is to create an awareness amongst Indian industrialists and executives of the importance of the loss prevention, not only for the sake of reducing the property damage resulting from fire and allied perils, but also for the sake of maintaining normal levels of production and for preserving arduously earned national wealth in the form of plant and machinery.
This seminar will bring together experts in the various fields from India and abroad and several representatives from the Indian industries and concerned Government Agencies to discuss loss prevention as an active philosophy. It is hoped that this seminar will not be just an isolated event but that it will be an initiating point for an active and continuous dialogue in the various sectors for improvement and maintenance of productivity in India and for reduction of national waste as much as possible. The success of this seminar can only be judged by the long-term impact it creates among all those responsible for maintenance of safety in industry in their respective spheres of work.
