The Insurance sector has completed its full circle in the year 2000, i.e. Private sector to Public sector and now backs to Private sector. After 44 years, the monopoly of Life Insurance Corporation is no more and 12 Private Life Insurance Companies have entered in the insurance market.
In present scenario the Govt. felt the necessity of education on insurance subject at undergraduate level for which UGC has prescribed the syllabus. In this book, it is attempted to cover the prescribed syllabus of UGC and arranged the topics in simple language and systematic manner. This book will also be useful for other professional courses like PGDIBM of various universities and DIRM of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
