Summary |
This book presents, rather, a new view of management a view that is just emerging as a result of a recent synthesis of learning in the sciences, which is being newly translated into management concepts.
This book seeks to identify some of the external and internal sources of such new knowledge, and to participate in the effort to synthesize it, toward the end that the conceptual basis- the theory- of management may be strengthened. It attempts to draw the tentative preliminary sketches of a general theory of management by bringing together concepts that are waiting to be applied.
