The main aim of this Unit is to help you to analyse organization, so that can form a good idea of the training needs of its personnel.
To do this you will need:
1. To have some introductory or background information;
2. To have some idea (or definition) of what an organization is;
3. To decide what kind of an organization yours in (i.e. to classify it);
4. To set out what the objectives of your organization are, and to see how these relate to the personal objectives (outlook, aims, ambitions, preferences) of those who work in it.
We begin with some background material.
