The treatment and analysis of the subject followed in the first edition is kept in tact. The case law has been brought up to date and several decisions of various courts, English and Indian, with copious extracts from judgements are given. The part dealing with liability insurance is almost re-written.
The new principles of motor vehicle insurance dealing with absolute liability, provisions for compensation in ‘hit and run’ cases and other changes have been incorporated. This edition also adds in the appendices model forms of different kinds of insurance policy.
