Summary |
This books sets out to put things right, and it is hoped that it may prove a useful reference for people looking for humorous or interesting snippets relating to one of the largest industries of our time.
In pursuing the historical and hysterical through the following chapters one cannot help but notice that over the years the way people behave has not altered all that much. Even in the earliest accounts one encounters the devious, the eccentrics, the power-seekers and the plain dishonest. Double-crossing, double-dealing and cheating were commonplace, and dishonest, inflated and exaggerated claims were considered fair game.
