It has had to be largely re-written with a view to meeting the changes in the organisation of general insurance companies, economic development and University syllabi. Old chapters have been completely re-written in the light of latest development. A brief analysis about the nationalised life and general insurance markets has been made. New topics have been added to incorporate information, specially concerning new policies issued since the declaration of the state of emergency and the implementation of the 20-point economic programme of out Prime Minister.
