Summary |
This second edition has been designed primarily to assist the more junior underwriter, but it is hoped that it will be of interest to others engaged in life assurance work. As before, it consists in the main of a summary and an appreciation of the medical terms the underwriter is likely to meet in his day-to-day work, with an indication of the sort of extra mortality that may be associated, in the general case, with a particular impairment.
