The fourth edition of this book has been in demand for several years and recent developments in insurance field have made such a revision a necessity. The entire book has been rewritten, and this edition is a “revision” only in the sense that the objectives and general design of the previous editions have been retained. Four new Chapters have been added to achieve more complete coverage of the life insurance area. Other chapters have been extensively reworked, with new material added in all sections of the text.
