The first Part of this book relates to “Personal Accident Insurance” particular attention being given to the event insured against and the application of the doctrine of proximate cause.
In Part II “Life Insurance” is considered with special reference to nondisclosure and misrepresentation of material facts and the persons to whom payment under the policy may be made.
Part III discusses “Industrial Assurance” and sets out the rights of owners of this kind of policy.
The subject of Part IV is “Property Insurance” and covers a wide variety of different types of insurance, e.g. burglary, all risks, transit, livestock, aviation and war risks insurance.
“Liability Insurance” forms Part V and includes public liability, pollution by oil, professional indemnity, and employers’ liability insurance.
Part VI concerns “Guarantee Insurance”, and “Reinsurance” is to be found in Part VII.
