It is authore intention to produce a document useful to the insurance industry and indeed to any who are involved in or affected by containerization. In no sense of the word can the group claim that this is a comprehensive report, yet by including information on construction, handling, documentation, legal liability and other aspects of interest it is hoped that it may prove to be the stimulus for further study. The report can only be accurate at the time of writing and must require updating from time to time, especially where pending legislation is concerned.
