The unique feature of this book is, that it not only describes the innovative practices but present them in a broad conceptual framework. The examples chosen to ill ustrate the application of concepts are from Indian situations in both formal and non-formal education, from pre primary school level to industrial training. It also practices what it teaches. It is written as if it is a dialogue between two friends-two exploring minds. There are unit tests where feedback is provided, but there are open ended exercises also where the reader is encouraged to analyse his/her own experiences, his/her own environment, and apply the concepts.
