Summary |
The purpose of this handbook is to provide a concise study guide to the elements of equity. The book follows the pattern of others in this series and consists of study notes and progress tests, intended both for the student who is beginning his study of equity and for the examination candidate who requires a means of swift revision.
The content is based on the generally accepted subject matter of equity. The pattern of the book, however, has dictated, in part, the scope of the contents. Some topics have perforce been omitted, and students whose syllabus includes matters such as partnership, administration of assets, succession, are advised to refer to the appropriate handbooks in this series in which these subjects receive detailed treatment. The bibliography which forms appendix I should be referred to by students who intend to make a wider study of the matter upon which the outlines of equity in this book are based.
